Fly a simulator, learn the sticks, read the weather, check Mumbai airspace and take apart a 5-inch quad. Then download your certificate.
Drone flying basics, from the instructor.
Aviation and drone enthusiast. I teach the basics of how things fly, for anyone curious, starting from zero.
Every drone, from a toy to a racing quad, flies on the same idea: motors push air down, and small changes in each motor’s speed tilt, turn or lift the aircraft. Learn the sticks, respect the weather and the airspace, and the rest is practice.
Check battery, props, screws and failsafe. Read the weather and confirm your airspace zone. Pick an open area, away from people and roads.
Throttle goes up and down. Yaw turns the nose. Pitch moves forward and back. Roll moves left and right. Practise each one alone first.
Keep the drone in line of sight. Stay low and slow at first. Land with a safe battery margin, never at zero.
Wind, gusts, visibility and cloud base decide if you fly. A METAR gives you all of it in one line.
In India, Digital Sky maps green, yellow and red zones. Green is open, yellow needs permission, red is no flying.
Start in the simulator, move to a small drone, then add FPV. Fly with an experienced pilot while you build confidence.

This is an ORUX learning certificate. It is not a DGCA or DigitalSky Remote Pilot Certificate.
